The Edition 1+1 project enables people to collaborate creatively with an artist on a work of art.
THE IDEA
Contemporary art is not accessible to all. Especially the large-scale works of established artists are unaffordable for most people. With Edition 1+1, we want to take a new approach to art. In a partnership between you and the artist, a unique work of art will be created in a playful way as part of the Edition.
THE PROJECT
With our project, we hope to appeal to people who are interested in art and culture and who would like to take part in an artistic experiment.
«CONSTELLATIONS»
We have developed the very first Edition 1+1 project in partnership with Andrea Heller, a Swiss artist from Biel.
Andrea Heller studied at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), has already had exhibitions of her work in numerous galleries and museums in Switzerland and elsewhere and is represented in some prestigious art collections. Her work “Constellations” considers the different approaches which could be taken as part of a creative collaboration and is reminiscent of the constellations formed by heavenly bodies in the skies.
